![]() I was wondering what to put for -hostname=libreelec-%p \" in the file.ĮDIT: From other machines and also form iPeng I can connect without problems to the docker LMS. Tcp 0 0 :::4713 :::* LISTEN 272/pulseaudio Display More If any of the ports listed in Steps 3 and 4 above don't say 'OK', see answer 360023224534 for more help. Under the section, make sure all ports say 'OK'. Under the Logitech Media Server section, make sure all ports say 'OK'. ![]() Proto Recv-Q Send-Q Local Address Foreign Address State PID/Program name Open the Logitech Media Server Control Panel. The log says (among other things):Ĭode Active Internet connections (only servers) Auto discovery of LMS comes up with the correct IP (the one of the Raspi LMS and Kodi are running on), but when I try to start XSqueeze, it can't connect to the server. However, when it comes to tell the XSqueeze plugin in Kodi that the LMS is now on the same machine, things go wrong. It was a hard piece of work for me as a Linux noob, will write a step-by-step when I have everything running ok.Įverything runnig fine so far, I can access LMS by IP:9000 and scan the media. I've set up docker and the LMS image (for the Raspi, it seems that it has to be a different one than the one mentioned in the thread you'd pointed me to). However, as the whole LMS thing with multiroom audio and different devices to control it (in my case, iPads, iPhone 6, Fire 5g, iPod toch 2g) still seems a very fragile construction, the Docker container approach might weaken stability even more? Anyway, I'll give it a try, thanks for pointing me to that thread. Still, if it were visible over the wireless network I'm sure the dedicated Logitech receiver would work just fine. Thanks, sounds interesting. The one peculiarity I notice is that it's front end will let me select an album and a track, but then fails to play it. ![]() The LMS web GUI is operating fine, indexing the music collection, and so on. I'm sure it's not related the main problem, but for completeness I should mention it. I mentioned one weird issue at the beginning. And the other question you might ask - the Windows machine is rarely switched on, unlike TrueNAS, hence having TrueNAS be the music server would be ideal, if it was visible. In case anyone questions it, the reason I'm not using Plex to send music around the home is that I have all Logitech hardware - squeeze players etc - and they want to talk to LMS only. It's odd that LMS exists ported to TrueNAS yet cannot make itself known. Another comparison, I have LMS on a Windows machine and that works fine too. ![]() Am I missing something here? By comparison, I have Plex installed and that works fine and announces itself throughout the home. The main problem is it doesn't broadcast itself over DLNA / WiFi. One weird issue, but I'll come back to that in a moment. I have just installed the Logitech Media Server (LMS) plugin and it seems to have installed and be functioning correctly - almost. ![]()
